We'd like to personally welcome each of you to the ADMC's 33rd Annual Education Meeting. In an abundance of caution this year’s meeting will have an onsite and virtual aspect so our members can elect to join us onsite or remain in their homes. It is important to register so we can plan for both experiences. Onsite attendance will be limited to keep us within the state guidelines.

With a grateful heart and hours of planning, your ADMC Board of Directors invites you to our 2020 annual meeting on October 13-14.

Thirty-four years since its origin, ADMC is where Abundant Thinking Takes Root and this year’s meeting promises many opportunities for collaboration.

We understand that many of you are concerned about an in-person meeting. Therefore we are fortunate to have the help of Austin Yarnton, and his team to make it easy to attend the meeting virtually. For those attending in person several things are being taken into consideration to ensure your safety. The Bohemian Celebration Hotel in Celebration, FL was selected because it a smaller, boutique hotel located in a walking neighborhood with a large lake to walk around allowing members to stay within a small community without having to Uber elsewhere where large number of tourists will be congregating. We will be adhering to hand hygiene, social distancing and mask wearing.

ADMC is truly family, a “Road Family”. We appreciate that as consultants we have our struggles and triumphs and we want to make things work for our clients. The ability to interact with colleagues who truly understand our passion, commitments and the climate of the dental profession is one of the most profound benefits of membership. Being a self-employed consultant can be a lonely experience and ADMC members provide support no therapist possibly can. If ever there was a time for this member benefit, this is it.

Dr. Roy Shelburne had to go back to the drawing board and is designing a timely and tremendous two-day conference; fabulous speakers, expert tips from members on topics as diverse as running your business virtually and managing our personal selves, mentally and physically.

This year, there are several Board positions open for election. We are honored to confirm that Minal Sampat has already thrown her hat in the ring to run for director of education. Of course, the one position on the ballot is to elect your new Vice President/President Elect. Our current Executive Board and Board of Directors are amazingly talented, and our professional organization would not exist as successfully without each person lending their time and talent. Will you consider how to be more engaged? Please take the time to nominate and to vote when ballots are sent out. For you to be nominated you must agree to serve.

In addition, there will be new members to meet, sponsoring partners to learn from and we promise that there will be contests announced for virtual and on-site attendees.

This year, our Silent Auction and fifty-fifty raffle will benefit Feeding America. This organization has truly made the pandemic easier to live through for hundreds of thousands of unemployed individuals. Help us by contributing Silent Auction items. Even virtual attendees can help. So, let’s rekindle, join and reignite our passion for our profession. It’s never been a better time. I promise 2020 will be a meeting to remember.

Mercy Ships logo

Our 2019 Charity for our Silent Auction and 50/50 Drawing will be Mercy Ships

Mercy Ships is an international organization that uses hospital ships to bring safe surgery and capacity building to countries that fall at the bottom of the United Nations Human Development Index. Since 1978, Mercy Ships has visited more than 55 developing nations. We are passionate about serving those in need, and we strive to leave a lasting impact for the futures of those we serve.

With the help of our generous donors, Mercy Ships is able to provide free, first-rate medical and dental care to children and families on the continent of Africa. Thanks to our volunteer crew who donate their time and pay their own way, all gifts received can be used wherever they are most needed, which means more lives healed, more lives restored, and more lives saved.

Our charity event during the meeting needs your help. To volunteer or donate an item for the Silent Auction please contact Bonnie Pugh at info@admc.net.
