Once you have completed three years of full-time consulting, sponsorship and a letter of recommendation are required for application. If you do not have a sponsor, you may want to attend one of our educational meetings to "get to know us better."

Definition of Management Consultant
Dental Management Consultants are defined by the ADMC as those individuals who derive their primary income from providing any or all of the following services to the dental profession: management of advisory services, lecturing, consulting, marketing, financial analysis, practice transitions or office design.

Membership Criteria
Full Membership
  1. Membership consists of individual members, not firms, who consult with multiple clients either as an independent or corporate consultant.
  2. Not less than three years full time consulting, earning your primary income (minimum 80%) through dental consulting services.
  3. Sponsorship by an ADMC member in good standing.
  4. Two client reference letters ENCLOSED WITH APPLICATION.
    Letters must be originals on office letterhead and signed by your client.
  5. Written statement of philosophy regarding your consulting services.
  6. A statement of what you expect to gain from your involvement with the Academy.
  7. Payment of application fee.
  8. Upon recommendation of the membership committee the applicant will be voted into the membership of the Academy by a majority vote of board of directors.
  9. Ability to attend a minimum of one ADMC education meeting every four (4) years. Member can not miss more than three (3) consecutive meetings.
Affiliate Membership
All requirements of Full Membership with the following exceptions:
  1. An affiliate member may have less than three years full time consulting, but must still be earning primary income (not required to be (80%) through full time dental consulting.
  2. Affiliate membership consists of individual members, not firms, who consult with multiple clients either as an independent or corporate consultant.
  3. Affiliate member will not have voting rights and may not attend “members only” meetings or board meetings.
  4. When an affiliate members has completed full time consulting for 3 years, and is earning 80% of their income from in office consulting, the affiliate member will be granted full member status upon re-verification of qualifications.
