| About the Consultant: | Mary Govoni is a dental assistant and hygienist with over 31 years of experience in dentistry. She is the owner of Clinical Dynamics, a consulting company dedicated to the enhancement of the clinical and communication skills of dental teams for over 10 years. Mary's areas of specialization are OSHA compliance & infection control, ergonomics and clinical efficiency and team communication. She is a past president of the American Dental Assistants Association, Secretary for the Organization of Safety & Asepsis Procedures, a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, National Speakers Association and served two terms on the Michigan Board of Dentistry. Mary is a regular columnist for Dental Equipment and Materials magazine and has been published in Dental Products Reports, Dental Economics, The Dental Assistant, Journal of Practical Hygiene and RDH.
