| About the Consultant: | Kathleen has worked with the dental industry since 1982. Her many years of managerial experience in the fields of insurance, finance and education, give her real-world work experience that propels dental teams to success. She has trained hundreds of dental teams as well as senior management and staff in small and large corporations in the US, UK, Canada and Asia. Kathleen specializes in executive coaching with dentists, team building, and all aspects of practice management, particularly collections, insurance, scheduling, treatment acceptance and verbal skills. For 10 years Kathleen was Director of Claims Operations and Customer Service with Delta Dental Plan of California, the largest US dental insurance company, and has worked with several nationally known dental practice management organizations. She created the practice management division at Matsco, a financial firm serving nationwide dentists. In 2004, Kathleen joined Jameson Management, Inc., a dental practice management firm serving dentists throughout the US, UK, Canada and Europe, where she is Vice President of Coaching. Since 1987, Kathleen has co-owned a California based graduate school of psychology. This family-owned business has provided her with challenges as well as successes similar to many of the same issues dentists and their spouses deal with in managing their own practices. Kathleen has lectured at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Aesthetic Advantage-London and for several specialist associations. A co-author of a book titled "Educating Learners of All Ages," she has published articles in The International Journal of Coaching in Organizations. Kathleen earned a Master of Arts in Adult Learning and is a Certified Executive Coach. |
